Galaxy Tribute Funds

Maisie Pike

Maisie is our daughter and she was born on 7 May 2003.

She is our first child and she has been diagnosed with infantile Tay-Sachs disease which means that her life will be short and limited.

Our aim is to make every day of Maisie’s short life as happy and fulfilled as possible, and to cherish every moment with her.

Maisie has beautiful eyes and especially long eye lashes.  When she laughs and giggles she lights up the whole room and makes us melt!  Despite her limitations she is a very happy, content, lovable little girl.

Even though the Tay-Sachs diagnosis has caused us so much heartache, we would not change her for the world and feel truly honoured that she is ours.

We would like to start a Galaxy Tribute Fund in Maisie’s name so that something positive may come of our situation.  We hope that we can help, in what way we can, by raising money to fund research so that other children like Maisie may in the future have a chance to live long and fulfilling lives.

Until such time that research can help children like Maisie, we would like to raise money to help other families like us so they can continue to receive support and advice from Climb that may help them on their journey.
