Celebrating the legacy for cycling created by the London 2012 Olympic Games, these fantastic Prudential RideLondon cycling events follow a 46 or 100 mile route on traffic-free roads, beginning at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London, whizzing past all the iconic landmarks before finishing at The Mall.
“I am very proud to have raised so much for a charity that means so much to us.
The event itself was fantastic – it was very well organised and incredibly professional from all the planning to the day itself. There was an incredible buzz riding on closed roads with so many other cyclists and the crowd support was brilliant. I would highly recommend it and personally felt very proud to ride for Climb.
I am attaching a photo taken at the end in front of the palace. I was in a lot of pain at that point but delighted to have finished!”
Marc Wittenberg, Team Climb cyclist 2017
This event comprises a spectacular 46-mile route on traffic-free roads, beginning at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London and following the same route as the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 for the first 27 miles before taking a new two-mile route, which then links up with the last 17 miles through London to the finish in The Mall.
The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 is open to cyclists from aged 16+ and was created specifically for newer cyclists and younger cyclists, who might find a 100-mile challenge intimidating. The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 offers a great introduction to cycling on traffic-free roads and is a wonderful way to ride your first sportive.
This more challenging ride follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside. With leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, it’s a truly spectacular event for all involved.
